Laurens football trip to Manchester.

Well Laurens trip was fantastic.  The whole team traveled down on the train & from what I hear, they had an absolute ball.  Upgraded to first class and making announcements over the train tannoy!!  They finally got to the hotel at 0100.  They were all shattered but high as kites. 

We all walked over to the football pitches at 11am, ready for the 1130 kick offs. I will get all the details of the teams played & the scores. They didnt get though, but they held their own against teams who have professional training staff.  Lauren was fantastic, her goal was under siege for most of the day & to her credit, she only let in 6 goals the whole day. She made some spectacular saves & it was commented on by the other coaches.

All the girls were absolutely shattered at the end of the day.  They gave 110 percent. All of them.  We could not asked for more. Her mummy and I are so proud of her.  It was one of the greatest displays of determination we have ever seen from Lolly.  She gave her all thoughout the whole day.  It was fantastic to watch.
